We are delighted to share with all of you the birth of the [H] ARTE Foundation, a very beautiful project that aims to improve people’s lives by organizing Art exhibitions and workshops in Spanish hospitals.

Everything started in a very natural way. One morning my dear friend Silvia Centeno and I escaped to visit several art galleries, cultural centers and artists’ studios and at the end of such an artistic morning, sensitized by the terrible pandemic that has hit our lives so many months ago, we thought it would be a great idea to be able to bring a little Art to the people who were experiencing hospitalization at this time, and to all the health personnel who spend so many hours taking care of us so well.

So once said, it got done, thanks to the support of several people who have believed in our idea, and a few weeks ago the first exhibition of the [H] ARTE Foundation became a reality at the Vithas Madrid Aravaca Hospital, consisting of 19 works by the designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada that have filled the hospital with color and energy.

Each work is accompanied by a QR code in which you can find information about the work, the artist, the music that accompanies the exhibition and the hospital where the work is. Due to the complicated situation in our hospitals, the workshops that should accompany each exhibition will not be able to take place yet, but we hope to be able to do them very soon.
The idea was born, with the idea of filling the corridors, waiting rooms and patient rooms of Spanish hospitals with Art and we are going to do it with works from museums, private collections and artist friends. Little by little and reaching the largest number of hospitals in the Spanish geography because you should not have to give up Art, even if you are in a hospital.

This first exhibition would not have been possible without the support of Luis Trigo and the Fundacion El Secreto de la Filantropia, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Vithas Hospitals, Stas, Panorama Group, Hiscox Spain and the Grace agency that has designed such a beautiful logo for the foundation. Thank you very much to all !!

And if you like the idea and want to give us a hand, be sure to get in touch with Fundacion [H] ARTE; all help is most welcome , -)
