It’s always nice to go back to a city you’ve lived in and that brings back good memories, so receiving a VIP invitation to ArtDubai was a great excuse to go visit my good friends in that city and catch up on the art that was offered in a fair as interesting as Art Dubai and the Expo 2020.

The truth is that this has been, until now, my most liked edition of ArtDubai, due to the quality of works and galleries present. I was struck by the color and variety of the works, as well as the fact that they had a section dedicated only to presenting NFTs.

It was also a pleasure to visit the Dubai Collection that was being exhibited at the Etihad Museum and that is made up of private works of art that are made to this collection to promote interest in art in Dubai and make this emirate a center of the art in the world.

Many of the works belong to the collection of the Sheik of Dubai himself and to the main collectors there and are by authors from the Middle East, which makes it an original and different collection.

I also had the opportunity to visit the Sharjah Foundation and see some of the very interesting exhibitions that they had at the time. I love visiting this foundation that is a world reference for the most avant-garde and committed art.

If you travel to the United Arab Emirates and you are interested in art, you must visit it without fail, as well as the many galleries and museums that fill that part of the world with art throughout the year.
