Since his first single exhibition in 1972, Juan Diaz has developed an extensive creative activity that has been exhibited across Spain and other countries such as Argentina, Colombia, USA, Francia, Italia, etc.

Diaz has participated in numerous occasions in Fairs such as: ARCO, Madrid (Spain); ART FAIR, Palm Spring (EE.UU.); ART FAIR, Santa Fé (EE.UU.); ART NEW YORK, Nueva York (EE. UU.); ART MIAMI, Miami (EE.UU.); ARTEBA, Buenos Aires (Argentine); ARTEBO, Bogota (Colombia); ARTESANTANDER, Santander (Spain); ARTE PADOVA, Padua (Italia); FIA, Caracas (Venezuela); LINEART, Gant (Belgium); etc

AWARDS AND DISTINTIONS

Juan Diaz has won several prizes in the competitions he has taken part in. These include: "Premio Nacional de Acuarela 1990 CAM, Madrid; 1st Medal in the "Salón de Otoño", Madrid; special mention in the V "Salón de Otoño" de Plasencia; 1st Prize of painting "Premios Ejercito 1996", Madrid; prize and acquisition in the 1st "Certamen Fundación Wellington", Madrid. 1st, 2sd and Special Prize Rafael Requena in the Certamen Internacional "Villa de Caudete".

His work is shown in Museums, private Collections and Institutions in Europe and America.

In 1993 Diaz was nominated "Cerdán de Oro" in Talavera de la Reina in recognition of his artistic career.
