This work is from the series “Luz Dormida.” “When there were no emails, no WhatsApp, no social networks; when, in fact, telephones didn’t even exist, or were accessible to very few people. Back then, we communicated through letters. Some took years to arrive, and others never made it. This piece speaks of all that, of all those letters that never arrived, that got lost along the way, that were hidden, seized, censored, or kept by parents so their daughters would never see them.”
