There is no doubt that throughout the year Madrid is already a city full of art, we have some of the best museums in the world and an excellent and big artistic offer year-round, but during the month of February, in particular this week, the artistic panorama is especially abundant and I encourage you to take advantage of it.

There are several art fairs that occur in these days, let me make for you a short summary that I hope will be useful:

  • We start with ARCOMadrid, the most veteran one, that celebrates its 36 edition and has a great national and international representation with over 200 galleries with the theme of “The future of Art” and as usual takes place at IFEMA. Do not miss it.
  • There are other art fairs such as ArtMadrid, that is turning 11 years old and I also highly recommend, not only because our mother Gallery, Galería Kreisler, has a stand at it, that you can not miss, but because there are other 43 galleries and more than 300 artists participating in it.
  • Another good option is JustMAD the emerging art fair that celebrates its eighth edition in the COAM official College of architects of Madrid, with works by emerging artists that can be very interesting at a very good price too.
  • DRAWING ROOM MADRID  will make its second edition focused on contemporary drawing with national and international projects. For drawing lovers, like me, I tell you that you should certainly visit it.
  • This is the first year for Hybrid, international fair of emergent art, this exhibition made its first appearance in Madrid’s cultural scene as a festival of alternative art spaces and now returns, but this time, as fair during this art week.
  • Also for the first time we have URVANITY at Palace of Neptuno where 17 galleries: 12 of them international and 5 national, will show us new contemporary art focusing on Street Art and with more options.

We also have many exhibitions in various museums and cultural centers as the Caixa Forum or Foundation Maphre exhibitions that are always great.

And of course, do not miss the shows of several artists from kreislerart.com who have presence in this Art week with various exhibitions like Esther Rosa, Antonio Muñoz Von Furstenberg and María Gadea.

As you can see you can choose techniques, styles and budgets so I encourage you to go out and enjoy all this Art that invades us these days in Madrid.
